I love this sentence. In fact, most of the society work in order of it.
Seems that it's impossible to be a "great person" 'cause to reach the power of somewhat, normally you should open a fight with the other competitors. And all the fights are a potential Machiavellian war.
No matter how much you want to believe that they've a common interests with you. 99% of time it will be false.

Somehow, the society has accepted this role of passive mass of stupid lambs.
On the search of the self-satisfaction, the humans are in the way of the banal consumerism.
The most important in the currently young culture it's to have the best or the better of something.
No matter if you really need it or not.
It's cool to have kitsch thinks 'cause it makes you different.
It's cool to have the most custom car 'cause it makes you different.
It's cool to be an underground teen 'cause it makes you different.
It's cool eat foreign meals 'cause it makes you different.
At last, seems that being yourself you can't be a "cool" person. Maybe being a person it's not cool too.
People tend to dramatize the most common acts of independence thought, but don't care about the excess of subliminal violence. I mean, the fathers of a child threaten a professor just because he strike slightly the student. Most of this cases the professor was under a terrifying pressure, 'cause these children's are rude, despots & bad-mannered.
Here we have a "base problem".
Those child's, long time over protected, bad-mannered by their families, didn't find a correct way to express their self.
They don't have the need to decide was best or prefferent for them, 'cause they know family will give them everything.
Family tends to worry only in provide all the supposed "basics" to their sons that are always permissive.
Society give a fake list of "basic" things everyone should have in his home.
A TV + DVD + HIFI + PC + INET ... of course, if you have one of this ones... you would need the rest... damn...
CHOCOLATES + CAKES + CANDIES ... children can't be happy without that...
DOLLS + TEDDY'S + BIKES + CARS ... who can live without?
FASHION CLOTHES + FASHION HOUSE + FASHION FRIENDS ... you know... you should live at day...
At last... they have a big house, plenty of unnecessary things & people who they don't know at all.

Look, people usually eats watching TV. Families don't talk between them.
Fathers can't talk properly to their children's because they don't know exactly what they say. Even the young's don't know how to communicate with their parents.

I think I will stop here... I have not enough time to "save the world"... but, step by step... in my life... I'll try to make it different... although it only applies to me.
